Hace unos días celebrities de todo el mundo se acercaban a la Costa Azul a lucir sus mejores galas en el Festival de Cine de Cannes. Alfombra roja, presentaciones, fiestas privadas… Y es que todo un fin de semana da para mucho con un gran repertorio de looks tanto de día como de noche. Hoy traemos nuestro ranking… ¿Qué opináis vosotr@s?

A few days ago celebrities worldwide approached the Côte d’Azur to show off their best oufits at the Cannes Film Festival. Red carpet, presentations, private parties… And a whole weekend gives a large repertoire of looks both for day and night. Today we bring our ranking… What do you think?

LAS MEJOR VESTIDAS / THE BEST DRESSED

Todos aquellos outfits de actrices, modelos y mujeres del momento: vestidos, complementos, peinado y maquillaje que nos han quitado el habla.

Blake Lively: con este outfit de Gucci recordando al glamour de los dorados años de Hollywood con este diseño en B&W recogido bajo y labios rouge. Sin duda fue la protagonista de la red carpet de Cannes. Con este look de 10 da ejemplo de ello. Quizá con uñas más cortas y sin collar nos hubiese encantado todavía más.

Blake Lively: with this Gucci outfit reminiscent of  the glamor of Hollywood’s golden years with this B&W design upsweep hair and rouge lips. She was definitely the star of the Cannes red carpet. This 10 look gives example of it. Maybe with shorter nails and without necklace we would have loved it even more.

Blake Lively: volviendo a la actriz y de la mano de nuevo de Gucci Première, luce este vestido largo de aire griego con aberturas en los laterales, en tono borgoña que le favorece muchísimo y textura fluida. Desprende elegancia y sensualidad.

Blake Lively: returning to the actress and again with a Gucci Première, she wears this long Greek dress with side openings, on a burgundy tone that looks very well on her and with smooth texture. She exudes elegance and sensuality.

Chloe Moretz: nos encanta la propuesta de la actriz que luce natural este conjunto de crop top, pantalones crepe de seda y canotier de la colección alta costura de Chanel. Este outfit en el clásico binomio B&W consigue su toque de dulzura con la manicura en tono azul candy. Lo repetimos, nos encanta.

Chloe Moretz: we love the proposal of the actress who wears in a very natural way this set formed by crop top, crepe silk pants and canotier from hChanel’s haute couture collection. This outfit in classic B&W duo achieves its touch of sweetness with manicure in candy blue. We repeat it again, we love it.

Zoe Saldana: de nuestras favoritas, con un vestido de Victoria Beckham, muy sencillo pero precioso de tirantes en blanco, volantes en la parte superior y falda plisada hasta los pies. Creemos que no hacía falta el cinturón dorado, un total white look hubiese sido simplemente perfecto.

Zoe Saldana: one of our favorite, with a Victoria Beckham dress, simple but beautiful, white straps, ruffles at the top and long pleated skirt. We think she didn’t need the gold belt, a total white look would have been just perfect.

Freida Pinto: la actriz y embajadora de l’Oréal París luce estupenda y con clase este vestido en tono nude de falda joya emplumada con melena ondulada y labios y manicura en granate. Un acierto con su tono de piel.

Freida Pinto: actress and ambassador for L’Oréal Paris looks great and classy in this jewel feathered nude dress with wavy hair and deep-red lips and manicure. A right guess  with her skin tone.

Isabeli Fontana: la top lucía tipazo con este vestido largo en cut out amarillo satinado que resaltaba su melena ondulada y piel dorada. Redondeaba el outfit con sus peeptoes, labios y manicura en rojo, aunque nos sobra la pulsera.

Isabeli Fontana: the top looked great with this long cut out dress in satin yellow that showed off her wavy hair and golden skin. Rounding the outfit with red peeptoes, lips and manicure, although we think there was no need of the bracelet.

Izabel Goulart: la top model brasileña acudió con este vestido joya en escote halter en blanco con detalles metálicos. Los complementos en la misma tesitura conjugan a la perfección con el vestido junto con la melena lisa. Pura elegancia.

Izabel Goulart: Brazilian top model attended with this halter neckline white jewel dress with metallic accents. Accessories in the same tone combine perfectly with the dress along with her smooth hair. Pure elegance.

Jessica Chastain: la actriz, espectacular como nunca, con este vestido largo de tirante asimétrico de Atelier Versace en color azul klein. Este color le favorece muchísimo con su melena pelirroja. Manicura y labios en rouge y pendientes en brillantes. Una diva de 10.

Judit Mascó: la modelo catalana lució su espectacular figura con este vestido en escote corazón y corte sirena, en total black. Uñas coral, clutch negro y anillo dorado en el dedo índice a juego con sus maxi pendientes. Quizá el color del pelo menos natural que de costumbre. Aún así, nos deja con la boca abierta.

Judit Masco: Catalan model showed off her spectacular figure with this sweetheart neckline and mermaid cut dress, in total black. Coral nails, black clutch and gold ring on the index finger matching her maxi earrings. Perhaps a less natural color hair than usual. Despite this, she still leaves us open-mouthed.

Paz Vega: la actriz española nos deleita en la alfombra roja con este espectacular vestido joya cosido a mano de Elie Saab Couture, en tono blanco roto plateado. Acaba el outfit con stilettos nude, pendientes largos y labios rouge. Nos encanta cómo demuestra que el midi también es elegante.

Paz Vega: the Spanish actress delights us on the red carpet with this spectacular Elie Saab Couture jewel hand-sewn dress, in off-white silver tone. She finishes the outfit with nude stilettos, long earrings and rouge lips. We love how she demonstrates that midi is also elegant.

Paz Vega: de nuevo la actriz derrochó glamour con este vestido joya entallado en tono plata con una cola de novia y fajín en negro. Como complemento esta -quizá demasiado llamativa- flor en el hombro del mismo color. A pesar de que consideramos que una flor más pequeña sería más adecuada, nos gusta el binomio de ambos colores y cómo estiliza su figura el vestido.

Paz Vega: again, the actress exuded glamour with this jewel silver fitted dress with a bride tail and waistband in black. Complementing this, -a perhaps too flashy- flower on the shoulder of the same color. Although we believe that a smaller flower would be more appropriate, we like the pairing of both colors and how the dress remarks her figure.

Natasha Poly: la modelo escogió este vestido en tonos plata y blanco con un escote precioso en uve -lo lucen mejor aquellas mujeres con poco pecho para evitar parecer vulgar- y alucinante caída en una falda con mucho vuelo. Estos tonos le favorecen con su tono de piel y su melena rubia. No nos encajan los cat eyes de su maquillaje pero sí sus labios nude.

Natasha Poly: the model chose this dress in silver and white tones with a lovely V neckline -which looks best in women with little breast to avoid appearing vulgar- and amazing fullness fall skirt. These tones favor her skin tone and blonde hair. We don’t like so much the cat eyes of her makeup but yes her nude lips.

LAS QUE ENTENDIERON QUE MENOS ES MÁS / THE ONES WHO UNDERSTOOD THAT LESS IS MORE

Porque adoramos el dicho y estamos totalmente de acuerdo con lo que representa el «menos es más». Ejemplos de elegancia, feminidad y sensualidad.

Because we love the saying and we totally agree with what represents the «less is more». Examples of elegance, femininity and sensuality.

Amber Heard: nos gusta mucho cómo combina este outfit sencillo pero elegante. Falda con mucho movimiento en tono plata con un top en algodón en color blanco. Una combinación original fuera de lo común. Con manicura y labios rouge para acabar el look.

Amber Heard: we like how she combines this simple but elegant outfit. Skirt with a lot of movement in silver tone with a cotton top in white. An unusual original combination. With rouge manicure and lips to finish the look.

Cara Delevingne: la modelo de moda combina su outfit perfectamente, con un mini vestido de paillettes en tonos metalizados, bolso B&W de Chanel, pendientes de aire étnico y labios burdeos. De las propuestas de corto para la alfombra roja, la mejor.

Eva Herzigova: la modelo está muy femenina con este vestido lady de Dolce & Gabanna, palabra de honor en jacquard gris con detalles en floral print, stilettos nude y collar de diamantes. El peinado, un recogido bajo desenfadado, queda perfecto con el vestido midi.

Ingrid García-Jonsson: nos encanta el toque de frescura juvenil que desprende el outfit escogido por la actriz española para la presentación de día, un total look de lino en gris azulado de Pedro del Hierro Madrid. Con las sandalias en beige y discreto colgante con piedra turquesa, luce muy guapa natural con la melena al viento.

Ingrid García-Jonsson: we love the touch of youthful freshness that follows the outfit chosen by the Spanish actress for the day, a total look in bluish grey linen from Pedro del Hierro Madrid. With sandals in beige and discrete pendant with turquoise stone, looks very pretty naturally with her hair in the wind.

Eva Longoria: la actriz, que nos tiene acostumbradas a looks un poco recargados, esta vez da en el clavo con este vestido largo que estiliza su figura perfectamente, en un tono nude con un escote asimétrico. Acaba el look con uñas y labios en la misma tonalidad y una trenza de espiga ladeada que nos encanta.

Eva Longoria: the actress, who has us accustomed to a bit overloaded looks, this time hits the mark with this long dress that slims her figure perfectly in a nude tone with an asymmetrical neckline. She finishes the look with nailpolish and lipstick in the same shade and a side herringbone braid that we love.

Naomi Watts: últimamente la actriz ha encontrado su estilo. Con este vestido de Marchesa, en un tono azul plomo a juego con sus ojos y con detalles joya en el escote y la cintura, luce femenina, sensual y con aire griego.

Sofia Coppola: conocida por su estilo minimalista chic, nos gusta el outfit que escogió la directora para su aparición en la alfombra roja. Un dos piezas, túnica de mangas tres cuartos y pantalón corto en total black con sutiles detalles brillantes, cuñas y bolso de mano del mismo color. Aquí demuestra que menos es más y que cada mujer puede encontrar su propio estilo.

Sofia Coppola: known for her chic minimalist style, we like the outfit the director chose for the red carpet. A two-piece, three-quarter sleeves tunic and short pants in total black with subtle brightwork, wedges and handbag of the same color. This proves that less is more and that every woman can find her own style.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: nos encanta este vestido de Gucci Première: escote palabra de honor en seda gris con detalles de strass en cascada, que marca la cintura con ese cinturón minimalista. Una espectacular figura para una mujer muy sensual. A veces, como en este caso, se consigue ser más sensual sin necesidad de enseñar absolutamente nada.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: we love this dress from Gucci Première: strapless neckline in grey silk with cascading rhinestone details, marking the waist with a minimalist belt. A spectacular figure for a very sensual woman. Sometimes, as in this case, it gets to be more sensual without showing absolutely nothing.

Kristen Stewart, Juliette Binoche & Chloe Moretz: nos encanta la elección de Juliette Binoche con vestido dos piezas, camisa y falda larga en B&W. Sin duda muy elegante demostrando que menos es más. El vestido tail hem en azul soft con plumas de Chole Moretz nos parece quizá un poco recargado pero consigue transmitir dulzura con las uñas en azul candy. La que no nos acaba de convencer del trío es la actriz Kristen Stewart con este conjunto de aire sporty, top y pantalón tobillero con destellos brillantes en un tono plata, apoyamos los intentos de ir distintas al resto, pero éste no le estiliza la figura, y el mal teñido y el tatuaje terminan de fastidiarlo por completo.

Kristen Stewart, Juliette Binoche & Chloe Moretz: we love Juliette Binoche’s election with this two-piece dress, shirt and long skirt in B&W. Definitely elegant demonstrating that less is more. The soft blue feather tail hem dress worn by Chole Moretz seems maybe a little overdone but manages to convey sweetness with her nails in candy blue. Which does not quite convince us of the trio is the actress Kristen Stewart with this sporty set of top and pants with bright flashes on a silver tone, we support attempts to go different than the rest, but this one doesn’t stylize her figure, and the bad colouring of her hair and the tattoo finish spoiling the whole.

LAS QUE SE PASARON… / THOSE WHO WORE TOO MUCH… 

Estas celebrities son guapas y estilosas, pero en su outfit desprenden ese «no se qué» que no nos acaban de gustar. Algo nos falla en sus looks…

These celebrities are beautiful and stylish, but her outfits off that «don’t know what» that we just do not like. Something is wrong with their looks…

Adriana Lima: es indiscutible la figura 10 que tiene la top model, y está espectacularmente sexy con este vestido en nude satinado con cuerpo bustier y abertura lateral. Los detalles de fajín y sandalias negras conjuntan con el tono del vestido y la tonalidad de su cabello, pero quizás se pasó un poquito de sexy, ¿no?

Adriana Lima: the top model’s figure of 10 is undisputed, and she is spectacularly sexy in this dress with nude satin bustier body and side opening. Details of sash and black sandals matching with the tone of the dress and the tone of her hair, but maybe a little bit too sexy, right?

Alessandra Ambrosio: con esta top nos pasa igual que con su compañera brasileña, aunque luce tipazo con este vestido asimétrico en blanco con detalles de cristales Swarovski de Atelier Versace, se pasa un pelín con lo recargada que va. ¿Es una joya o una mujer?

Alessandra Ambrosio: with this top the same thing happens as with her Brazilian partner, although her body looks great inside this white asymmetrical dress with Swarovski crystals details from Atelier Versace, she is a little bit overloaded. Is she a jewel or a woman?

Blake Lively: ya hemos comentado anteriormente que para nosotras, la actriz famosa a raíz de Gossip Girl, ha sido nuestra favorita de Cannes. Es por eso, que en comparación con el resto de outfits del festival, este vestido de Chanel alta costura es el que menos nos ha gustado. No nos convence porque le hace una forma un tanto amorfa, no nos gusta el corto tobillero ni lo recargado que es. No se puede ser perfecta Blake… pero nos sigues encantando, tranquila :)

Blake Lively: we have already said that to us, the famous Gossip Girl actress has been our favorite at Cannes. That is why, compared to the rest of her festival outfits, this Chanel couture dress is the least we liked. We are not convinced because it makes a somewhat amorphous form, we do not like the toe short nor its overelaboration. You can not be perfect Blake… but we still love you, be calm :)

Freida Pinto: a la actriz le favorece mucho este tono coral del vestido de Oscar de la Renta. Nos gusta el escote corazón y la forma de la falda, pero a lo mejor la cenefa dorada del diseño es too much… Nos gustaba muchísimo más con el vestido nude de plumas que hemos comentado anteriormente.

Freida Pinto: this Oscar de la Renta coral tone dress flaunts the actress. We like the sweetheart neckline and skirt shape, but maybe the golden border design is too much… We liked much more the nude dress with feathers that we discussed earlier.

Laetitia Casta: escogió este vestido palabra de honor en blanco con detalles en organza y pequeña cola, de Christian Dior Couture. No nos acaba de gustar la forma del vestido y su textura. Su peinado ladeado es de 10, el maquillaje y manicura en burgundy un acierto, y ella está espectacularmente guapa. Pero el look en sí es demasiado «pavo real», a veces éste es el resultado de arriesgar.

Laetitia Casta: chose this Christian Dior Couture strapless white organza detailed dress with small tail. We did not quite like the dress form and texture. Her side hairstyle is a 10, her makeup and burgundy manicure a success, and she is spectacularly beautiful. But the look itself is too «peacock», sometimes it is the result of risk.

Marion Cotillard: la actriz acudió al red carpet con este vestido blanco plisado en corte tail hem de Christian Dior Couture. No nos convence la organza en forma de flores de la parte trasera ni los zapatos anudados al tobillo de tacón ancho. ¿Qué le pasa a esta mujer con lo guapa que es y lo estilosa que podría llegar a lucir?

Marion Cotillard: the actress attended the red carpet with this tail hem pleated white dress of Christian Dior Couture. We are not convinced with the organza flowers at the back neither with the ankle knotted wide heeled shoes. What’s wrong with this woman how beautiful she is and how stylish she could reach to be?

Uma Thurman: de blanco impoluto con este diseño de Marchesa, luce estupenda su figura, pero lo que no nos termina de convencer es el escote a lo «ave fénix» y la espalda descubierta y drapeada. Simplicity es la clave Uma.

Uma Thurman: on pure white with this Marchesa design, her figure looks great, but what fails to convince us is the «phoenix» neckline and open draped back. Uma, simplicity is the key.

LAS PEOR VESTIDAS / THE WORST DRESSED

Creemos que todas ellas en otras ocasiones y momentos red carpet han lucido mucho más guapas…

We believe that all of them in the past and other red carpets have been much more beautiful…

Sharon Stone: es demasiado atrevido este LBD de Emiliano con detalles de strass y escote trenzado, por no hablar de las gafas de sol aviador. Con la figura tan espectacular que mantiene la actriz a su edad, estamos convencidas que con otro estilo de outfit estaría muchísimo más acertada.

Sharon Stone: this Emiliano LBD with rhinestone detail and twisted neck is too daring, not to mention the aviator sunglasses. With such spectacular figure that the actress has at her age, we are convinced that with another style of outfit she would be much more successful.

Irina Shayk: la top model rusa fracasa con este vestido en color flúor de Atelier Versace con cuerpo en bustier. Lo que menos nos gusta es el detalle de la capucha. De verdad que no comprendemos quién le aconsejó.

Irina Shayk: the Russian top model fails with this Atelier Versace fluor color dress with bustier body. What we liked least is the detail of the hood. We really don’t understand who advised her.

Julianne Moore: con este total look de Louis Vuitton la actriz no acierta ni con el mix de texturas ni con el mix de colores. Demasiado mix.

Karlie Kloss: creemos que la top model se arriesgó demasiado con este vestido de encaje con trasparencias tricolor de Valentino. En otras ocasiones nos ha dejado sin habla, esta vez no hemos podido apoyarla, y es una pena porque normalmente nos gustan mucho sus propuestas.

Karlie Kloss: we believe the top model risked too much with this three-colored lace dress with transparencies of Valentino. At other times she has left us speechless, this time we could not support her, which is a shame because we usually really like her proposals.

Paris Hilton: no nos gusta nada el print de este vestido lady en B&W, y mira que somos muy adictas a esta combinación de colores. La mezcla de las rayas en forma de hondas y el cuerpo con detalle floral nos falla.

Paris Hilton: we don’t like the print of this B&W lady dress, and we are very addicted to this color combination. The wavy stripes mixing with the floral details fail.

Audrey Tatou: la actriz, con este vestido tobillero y plisado, con print asimétrico y detalles metalizados de Prada no ha acabado de acertar. Se suma años y no le estiliza nada. Además el detalle de los zapatos en azul no le ayuda en absoluto. Eso sí, nos gusta su corte de pelo pixie.

Audrey Tatou: the actress, with this Prada pleated toe dress with asymmetric metallic print details did not make it right. She adds years and it doesn’t stylize either. Furthermore, her shoes in blue don’t help at all. Yes, we like her pixie hairstyle.

Nicole Kidman: este vestido en azul con cuerpo joya, falda en transparencias y vuelo de Armani no nos gusta ni por si solo ni cómo le sienta a la actriz, que cada día se parece más a una muñeca de porcelana. ¿Dónde quedó la Nicole de antaño?

Nicole Kidman: this blue jewel body dress, with transparency skirt by Armani, we do not like it by itself neither how it shows on the actress, who every day looks more like a porcelain doll. Where is the old Nicole?

Bianca Balti: la modelo lleva un vestido azul navy con trasparencias, detalles joya y flores en los hombros. Es demasiado recargado, parece que le vaya corto, y aunque nosotras también apostamos por outfits con zapatos planos, para este tipo de vestido es necesario el tacón. Una pena porque Bianca es guapa a rabiar y este vestido no le hace justicia.

Bianca Balti: the model wears a navy blue dress with transparencies, jewel details and flowers at the shoulders. It is too overloaded, it seems it is short, and although we are also committed to outfits with flat shoes, for this type of dress heels are necessary. A shame because Bianca is wildly beautiful and this dress does not justice her beauty.

Elena Lenina: la actriz rusa lleva un outfit demasiado exagerado, tanto, que parece hecho a propósito. No nos disgusta el vestido minimal en fucsia entallado y hasta los pies, pero lo estropea con el collar XL y el peinado, con los que arece Wilma de los Picapiedra…

Elena Lenina: Russian actress wears a too exaggerated outfit, so much, that it seems on purpose. We do not dislike her minimal fuchsia dress fitted to the feet, but it gets spoiled with that XL necklace and hairstyle, she seems Flintstones Wilma…
