No os imagináis la ilusión que hace recibir una invitación de cumple del que ha sido, durante muchísimos años, tu perfume favorito (el actual es top secret). Y es que la fragancia Flowerbomb de Viktor&Rolf está de 10º aniversario, ¡y teníamos que celebrarlo!

You can’t imagine how happy we felt when we received the invitation of, which has been for many years, your favorite perfume (the present one is top secret). It’s the 10th anniversary of Viktor&Rolf’s fragrance Flowerbomb, and we had to celebrate it!

Como el propio nombre de la fragancia indica, el espacio Allehaus (C/Palau nº 4, Barcelona) sí que se convirtió en una «bomba de flores» que explotaba con su olor en cada uno de sus rincones, como si de un jardín de cuento de hadas se tratase. Todo estaba cuidado hasta el más mínimo detalle. Una merienda de lo más cuca, pink y floral nos esperaba a unas pocas privilegiadas que tuvimos el placer de «conocer» a estos diseñadores de una forma más cercana.

As the name of the fragrance itself suggests, the Allehaus space (C/Palau 4, Barcelona) became a «flower explosion» impregnating with its scent each of its corners, like a fairytale garden. Everything was taken care to the smallest detail. A cute, pink and floral afternoon tea was waiting for a few privileged who had the pleasure to get to know these designers more closely.

Viktor y Rolf, holandeses y amigos -a pesar de que puedan parecer hermanos e incluso gemelos-, definen la moda como su antídoto a la realidad, y creen firmemente que esta puede convertir lo negativo en positivo, los sueños en realidad. Tras varios años en la pasarela, deciden en 2005 lanzar su primer perfume, como su seña de identidad. Amantes de tener siempre flores frescas en casa, y transgresores como son, crean Flowerbomb: una explosión floral, que libera, a través de un frasco tipo diamante rosa que tiene forma de granada, un aroma mágico que crea adicción a quién lo prueba, y doy fe de ello ;) Cuidan al máximo su envoltorio, diseñando un packaging rosa y negro similar a un regalo ya de por sí, y presentan su fragancia por primera vez como la guinda de uno de sus desfiles.

Viktor and Rolf, Dutch and friends -even though they may seem brothers and even twins-, define fashion as the antidote to reality, and firmly believe it can turn the negative into positive, dreams into reality. After several years on the catwalk, in 2005 they decided to launch their first perfume, as its hallmark. Lovers of having fresh flowers always at home, and breakers as they are, they created Flowerbomb: a floral explosion, releasing, through a pink diamond bottle shaped as a bomb, a magical aroma addictive to who proves it, and I can vouch for it ;) They paid attention to its packaging, designing a pink and black one like as if it was a gift in itself, and launched their first fragrance as the icing on one of their fashion shows.
