Las colgadas estamos súper contentas de haber realizado el lookbook FW15/16 de Almah, una marca de joyería/bisutería aromática proveniente de la India que acaba de aterrizar en la ciudad condal.

Para nosotras, que somos chicas de ciudad, este concepto nuevo de “scented jewelry” nos encanta porque nos permite ir perfumadas y monas allá dónde vayamos y estemos dónde estemos. ¿Cuántas veces os ha pasado lo de salir de una reunión corriendo para llegar a un afterwork o a una cita sin poder pasar por casa a arreglarte? Pues aquí está la solución. Basta de llevar de todo en el bolso, que más que un bolso parece una maleta…

Simplemente apuesta por cualquiera de sus collares o pulseras con aromas distintos (a escoger entre sus esencias Vert de Bamboo, Rose Millefoglia, White Tea, Aquamarine, Passion Fruit, Oriental Wood o White Musk), o, incluso, personalízalos y perfúmalos con tu eau de toilette de siempre. ¿No es genial?

Almah hace un viaje siglos atrás para encontrar las raíces de los perfumes. En latín, “par-fum” significaba el aroma que se desprendía al quemar resinas sagradas, el antiguo incienso en grano. En Almah se han inspirado en los perfumes de hace milenios, para acercarlos a la actualidad y poder lucirlos como una joya, como parte de nuestra propia historia, como parte de nosotros mismos. Partiendo de la base que la joyería/bisutería suele ser bastante atemporal, está claro que la diferencia entre llevar un collar o lucir un collar está en el rollo que le das a éste y cómo lo combinas con el resto del look. Por ello, pensamos que lo mejor sería mostraros nuestros productos favoritos de Almah con cuatro outfits diferentes, en los que las joyas son versátiles y van a conjunto con los estilismos. City girls like us love this new concept of «scented jewelry» because we can go scented and cute wherever we have to go and wherever we are. How many times has it happened that you’re running out of a meeting to get to an afterwork or a date without being able to go home before to get dressed? Well here is the solution. Enough carrying around so many stuff in your handbag, more than a handbag it looks like a suitcase…

Simply bet on any of their necklaces or bracelets with different flavors (to choose between their essences Vert Bamboo, Rose Millefoglia, White Tea, Aquamarine, Passion Fruit, Eastern Wood and White Musk), or even customize and scent them with your eau de toilette. Isn’t it great?

Almah has gone back to the Centuries to find the roots of the perfumes. From the old latin language, “par-fum” was the meaning of the scent when burning the Holy resins, the old incense in grain. In Almah they’re inspired by the scents of the millennia, to bring them to the present and to show off like a jewel, as part of our own history, as part of ourselves. In addition, all their products are without additives or preservatives, sustainable and biodegradable, which is a plus for those who love the Earth, like us.

Assuming that jewelry is usually quite timeless, it is clear that the difference between wearing a necklace or show off a necklace is on the roll that you give to it and how you match it with the rest of the look. Therefore, we thought the best was to show you our favorite Almah products with four different outfits, where the jewels are versatile and go along with the outfits. It’s about expressing your style through them, the same way you do with trends, that you make them yours.

The 70s

Combinamos nuestras joyas Almah favoritas, pertenecientes a la colección de «The Essentials» con algunas de la colección «The Design» y «The Selection», de una forma desenfada en un look muy setentero con pantalones acampanados, sombrero y chalecos de flecos. Nos encanta jugar con los frascos de perfumes temáticos, como por ejemplo nuestro preferido el del Árbol de la Vida, y combinarlos entre sí a diferentes alturas. Ahí está la clave, llevar un mínimo de tres de diferentes formas y diseños, y que queden escalonados con distintas cadenitas, desde las de oro a cuero negro o marrón. Además, nos gustan mucho sus pulseras esclavas bañadas en oro que llevan la cera perfumada.

We match our favorite Almah jewelry, from the collection of «The Essentials», with some of «The Design» and «The Selection» collection, in a carefree way in a very seventies look with flared pants, hat and fringed vests. We love to play with themed perfume bottles, such as our favorite one with the Tree of Life, and match each other at different heights. That is the key, take a minimum of three different shapes and designs, and make them look staggered with different chains, from gold to black or brown leather. Also, we really like his gold-plated bangle bracelets with the scented wax.

The boho dress

En la colección de «The Balls» en bronce y plata, Almah juega con piezas en forma de corazón y esferas, entre otras, que en su interior albergan las fibras perfumadas. Nos encanta mezclar maxi vestidos boho, con o sin bufanda, de tal modo que los collares que son de tamaño grande queden lo más bajo posible -nunca cómo gargantilla-, y más si tienes mucho pecho, que pueden quedar vulgares si justo van a nivel de escote… En cuanto a los collares pequeños, se trata de innovar, nunca descartes llevar un collar a modo de pulsera de doble vuelta con la joya cómo anillo, como hemos hecho nosotras.

In the bronze and silver «The Balls» collection, Almah plays with heart or spheric shaped pieces, inter alia, that inside host scented fibers. We love to mix maxi boho dresses, with or without scarf, so that the large necklaces remain as low as possible -never as short necklace-, especially if you have a lot of breast, which may become tasteless if you just place it to the neckline level… As for the small necklaces, innovate, and go for a double round bracelet with the jewel as the ring, as we have done.

The yoga hippie kind

El collar de la paz, así como la colección de pulseritas de hojas «The Bracelets» de Almah, nos enamoraron por su sencillez y por todo lo que implican, naturaleza. Además su packaging, con el collar y el frasco de perfume dentro de la cajita de madera nos parece de lo más acertado. Los combinamos con un outfit hippie de estilo yoga, con baggy trousers estampados y crop tops de crochet.

We fell in love with the peace necklace, as well as «The Bracelets» leaves collection of Almah, because of its simplicity and for all that they imply, nature. Besides the packaging, with the necklace and perfume bottle inside the wooden box which we feel very appropriate. We match them with a yoga style hippie outfit, with print baggy trousers and crochet crop tops.

The ethnic blazers

Y para demostrar que no toda la joyería/bisutería de Almah debe ser con outfits más bien bohemios, traemos un último look súper cañero con dos blazers étnicos que nos encantan, combinados eso sí, con flared pants. Ambas pulseras trenzadas en negro y dorado son elegantes y perfectas porque llevan el perfume solidificado. Y los atomizadores de la línea «The Perfums» nos parecieron una cucada vintage para poder guardar en el bolso y sacarlos incluso a conciencia para perfumarse un poco y que te pregunten por ellos ;)

And to prove that not all Almah jewelry must be with bohemian outfits, we bring one last super rocker look with two ethnic blazers we love, matched with flared pants. Both braided bracelets in black and gold are elegant and perfect because they carry the perfume solidified. And we found the «The Perfums» atomizers so vintage and cute to keep inside your handbag and take them out consciousness even to perfume a little so that they ask for them ;)
