Dorados, bronces y rojizos. Cuando te pones morena se te broncea la piel y se te aclara el pelo, y es entonces cuando te apetece lucir colores metálicos que ensalcen el dorado de tu pelo y tu piel. Y más si el lugar que te acompaña se tiñe de tonos rojizos como la arena de platja de Cavalleria de Menorca.
Llevaba tiempo buscando los típicos collares africanos «de cuello de jirafa» y brazaletes a juego. Pero quería algo auténtico, no una joya de lujo si no algo étnico, rudimentario, tal cual lo llevan allí, a la africana. Tuve la suerte de encontrar el Traditional Ndebele choker en la plataforma online Etsy.com (aquí) que ya os recomendé hace tiempo porque encuentras verdaderos tesoros. Piezas hechas a mano que son típicas de ciertos lugares del mundo que a menos de que viajes allí no las encontraríais (como os contaba en el post Color block). Aunque me chifla llevar este collar africano en ocasiones formales tipo cocktails, eventos o bodas, con un top de cuello alto y manga larga negro, esta vez pensé ¿y por qué no combinarlo con un mono plomo metalizado de tirantes? Algo atrevido quizá, ¡pero si no te atreves a vestir diferente es muy aburrido! Espero que os guste.

I had been looking for the typical African «giraffe necklaces» and matching bracelets. But I wanted something authentic, not a luxurious jewel if not something ethnic, rudimentary, as they wear it there, in the African way. I was lucky to find the Traditional Ndebele choker on the Etsy.com online platform (here) that I had already recommended some time ago because you find real treasures. Handmade pieces that are typical of certain places in the world that unless you travel there you would not find them (as I explained in the Color block post). Although I cherish wearing this African choker during formal occasions such as cocktails, events or weddings with a turtleneck and black long sleeved top, this time I thought why not match it with a braces metallic lead jumpsuit? A little bit cheeky maybe, but if you do not dare dressing different it is very boring! I hope you like it.
