Verano. Playa. ¿Bikini o bañador? El bañador se ha convertido desde hace un par de temporadas en la prenda estrella para ir a la playa más estilizada. Manías como no querer enseñar barriga, disimular que se cae el pecho, o simplemente ir toda de negro desde el cuello hasta la pierna para estilizar son motivos por el que el bañador está causando furor. Pero deberíamos sentirnos libres de estos prejuicios y escoger la prenda de baño que más nos apetezca lucir por que sí. Cansada estoy de ver en los anuncios de la tv o por Instagram cuerpos de infarto. ¡No todas tenemos un cuerpo de 10!

Cada uno debe ser consciente de sus defectos y virtudes y hay que aprender a quererse tal y como uno es. No podemos criticar a las delgadas diciéndoles que no comen porque quizá comen mucho y es su constitución. Ni podemos criticar a las gordas diciéndoles que no paran de comer porque quizá están en dieta constante y pasándolo mal. Ni podemos quejarnos: las que tienen poco pecho porque quieren más, las que tienen mucho porque quieren menos. Ya está bien. Yo sé que tengo un pecho bastante grande por lo bajita que soy, sé que formo parte del 99% de las mujeres que tienen celulitis y soy consciente de que tengo una cadera bastante ancha. Pero estoy orgullosa de ser una mujer curvy -de esas a las que yo bautizo como «que tienen chicha donde se puede agarrar»-, así que ¿quién dice que no puedo lucir un bañador sexy? ¿La sociedad? ¡A la mierda la sociedad en la que vivimos, la belleza está en la imperfección y en ser diferentes! Y para diferente, mi sombrero fetiche de este verano, el sombrero vietnamita Non La que ¡me chifla!

Summer. Beach. Bikini or swimsuit? The swimsuit has become since a couple of seasons ago the star garment to go to the beach more slender. Obsessions such as not wanting to show the belly, to hide sagging breasts, or simply to go all black from the neck to the leg to slenderize are reasons why the swimsuit is causing fury. But we should feel free of these prejudices and choose the swimwear that we most fancy. I’m tired of watching TV ads or Instagram infarct bodies. Not all of us have a body of 10!

Everyone must be aware of their defects and virtues and learn to love oneself as one is. We can not criticize the thin ones by saying that they do not eat because they may eat a lot and it’s their constitution. Nor can we criticize fat women by telling them they are not stopping eating because they may be on a constant diet and having a bad time. Nor can we complain: those who have little breast because they want more, those who have a lot because they want less. That’s it. I know that I have fairly large breast for the short I am, I know that I am part of the 99% of women who have cellulitis and I am aware that I have a fairly wide hip. But I’m proud of being a curvy woman – one of those I call «curvy where you can grab» – so who says I can not wear a sexy swimsuit? Society? Fuck the society we live in, beauty is in imperfection and in being different! And for different, my fetish hat this summer, the Vietnamese Non La hat that freaks me out!
