La conocimos en los Pop-Up stores de la pasada edición de la 080 Barcelona Fashion. Estamos demasiado ocupados mirando a la pasarela porque es dónde debería estar el talento, ¿no? Pero no nos damos cuenta de que el talento no entiende ni de dinero, ni de experiencia, ni de marketing. El talento es, o no es. ¡Y vaya si tiene talento Berta Cabestany!

Esta joven diseñadora catalana, fiel admiradora de Josep Font y que ha trabajado en el atelier de Teresa Helbig, diseña para una mujer con carácter, creativa, amante del arte y con un toque millenial. ¿Su distintivo? Es experta en bordados, pues ha estudiado esta técnica en la reputada Ecole Lesage. Y además, es una apasionada del blind drawing, técnica que influencia los motivos de sus coloridas colecciones. A nosotras nos chifla la feminidad, frescura y modernidad que desprende su colección 2018; y la de 2019, también promete. ¡A ver qué os parece a vosotras lo que ella define como Playful Demi-Couture!

We met her in the Pop-Up stores of the last edition of the 080 Barcelona Fashion. We’re too busy looking at the catwalk because it’s where the talent should be, no? But we do not realize that talent does not understand neither of money, nor experience, nor marketing. The talent is, or is not. And Berta Cabestany has talent!

This young Catalan designer, a faithful admirer of Josep Font and who has worked in the atelier of Teresa Helbig, designs for a woman with character, creative, art lover and with a millenial touch. Her badge? She is an expert in embroidery, having studied this technique in the renowned Ecole Lesage. And in addition, she is passionate about blind drawing, a technique that influences the motives of her colorful collections. We love the femininity, freshness and modernity that gives off its 2018 collection; and the 2019, is promising. Let’s see what do you think of what she defines as Playful Demi-Couture!
