Nunca pensé que escribiría un post sobre Dolce & Gabbana. Pensaba que la mujer D&G era una mujer demasiado exagerada para mí, un tipo de mujer que no me representaba. Pero me chifló este desfile que hizo la firma de Alta Moda FW 18/19 en el Lago di Como. Dando vida a una de las novelas históricas románticas más famosas de Italia, #DGLovesComo se centró en «The Betrothed» de Alessandro Manzoni. Todo, absolutamente todo, me parece fantástico. La selección del lugar para realizar el desfile, los outfits con los que desfilan, y que desfilen todo tipo de modelos de distintas edades y tallas. No es de extrañar que quisiesen pisar la pasarela modelos como Naomi Campbell, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigova, Lady Kitty Spencer y Ashley Graham. Un cuento lleno de fantasía inspirada en los aristócratas que visitaron Lago di Como años atrás, con mezcla de colores, detalles a raudales y opulencia. Opulencia 100%. I never thought I would write a post about Dolce & Gabbana. I thought that the D&G woman was a woman too exaggerated for me, a type of woman who did not represent me. But I loved the FW 18/19 Alta Moda Fashion Show that the firm did at the Lago di Como. Bringing to life one of Italy’s most famous romantic historical novels, #DGLovesComo was centered around Alessandro Manzoni’s «The Betrothed». Everything, absolutely everything, is fantastic.
